why we have only option : Royal Enfield.

TRue CRusing...for most of the ppl this gives the flashes of driving on lonley roads on Royal Enfield bikes. There isnt any better crusier available in india Take it for granted, Eicher motors sales figures have tripped in the last five years.Till now RE has sold only 5 lakh motorcycles(since 1954). 2010 has been the best year till now with sales figures of 43000. but these figures no where represent the actual crusing talent of india.. RE belongs to the 0.7% of the biker's community but that's not even the ounce in the "pound of flesh" market.
The brand value is legendary but Eicher motors dont want to be the mass market players, as because of the few simple facts ..
1. There is no marketing at all be it Television , internet, print media any of it.
2. The waiting period of latest model Royal Enfield Classic is 6 months.
the total sales of bikes is 7 million(India) ,
surely we need some crusier bikes in the bikes in the range of 1-3 lakhs, young indians have developed good purchasing power,but there is void in the high capacity bike segment.
Also we have very little on the technical know how stuff.
we dont have the manufacturing ability of V-twin engines, almost all the v-twin engined bikes are priced around $6000 but custom duties make them 100-120% more costlier , so we have enough room for developing the bikes.
Hope that we have some one developing the bikes in these segments.

bullet servicing...


Today i have my bike serviced @ Aman Automobiles Guragon sec -14.
This is my first service at Gurgaon/NCR, previuosly i was in Bangalore, but i can tell , this the best service I have ever got Since i purchased the bike,this was a paid service as my bike is 3 yrs old...
After servicing she drove like a butter on the road.Clutch and Break pads were lifted and inclined in much better way as though i was sitting on a throne.
I never felt pampered like this,but when i drove tis on NH8 .
I m writing this blog from great sense of satisfaction, because when I was in bangalore i had atleast 3 services but never got complete satisfaction , today it was serviced in front of me and im satisfied to the core,

Planning to have my custom bike.


Hi every body , Today is thursday(12/02/2010) and I have three days holiday at a row...
and I m really happy of being free and desigining my bike.... Actually a Chopper ..'m not kidding ,
I must give u some history behind this.

1st and foremost I 'm missing my Royal En-field which I have left @ B'lore and I m here @ delhi doin' my job. I own a 2007 model Electra 350cc, On this machine I have driven 150kmph on the Nice road, went on to the suburbs of B'lore on almost every weekend , dove it in rain in sun in mud and offcourse on (East Coast Road)Highways(The Highway Man! ). Can you feel the pain of separation of a pretty machine and man , who has rode this very magnificent beast for past 3 yrs and I m currently deprived of my cursing...

2nd reason is Royal en-filed has suddenly retired the electra and Machismo models . I m serious guys .. yes now they have only classic and Thunderbird. That too alumunium engine . The Cast Iron is out!!...
So all Bull-eters compromise the Thump.But I must say, Bullet is some thing that CompANY CAN'T STOP, producing.. Thump thou shall remain on the roads..

So I'm going for the kill, wish me luck...
